91Âþ»­. Haslauer earned her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and a Bachelor of Art in Sociology from Loras College.  She also attended the Johannes Kepler Universität in Linz, Austria.

Haslauer's research and teaching interests focus on the implementation of multicultural education throughout teacher training programs, culturally responsive pedagogy, social justice in education, and teaching English language learners (ELLs). 91Âþ»­. Haslauer is fluent in three languages and has 15 years of second language teaching experience.
